The Relic Source is a specialty dealer working with antiques, collectibles, and restored historical pieces, with an audience that includes both serious collectors and one-time gift buyers. The website needed to handle that range without making either group feel like they were in the wrong place.

What I worked on

  • Built the website to serve both serious collectors and casual gift buyers in the same flow.
  • Organized inventory and category navigation around how customers actually browse rare and one-of-a-kind items.
  • Designed the site to age well as inventory rotated and categories shifted over time.

Project note

Specialty dealers have a tricky retail model online. Inventory is constantly shifting and most pieces are one of a kind, which means the site cannot rely on a stable catalog. The architecture here treats inventory as the surface and category context as the foundation underneath.
