Manuel's

Manuel's Website Redesign

Manuel's is one of Austin's most recognizable Mexican restaurants, serving regional Mexican cooking in Great Hills since 1984. After working with the restaurant for years, the redesign focused on modernizing the website without losing the warmth, history, and food-first personality that regulars already know.

What I worked on

  • Led a full website redesign to better reflect the restaurant's history, food, and in-person atmosphere.
  • Refreshed the UX around menus, navigation, and content structure so visitors could find what they needed faster.
  • Improved local-search foundations for an established Austin restaurant with strong brand demand.
  • Organized content around reservations, ordering, events, and rewards instead of scattering those paths.
  • Kept menu and marketing content flexible for ongoing updates over a long client relationship.

Project note

This project stands out because the relationship has been long enough to go beyond a single launch. Manuel’s already had brand recognition, so the goal was not to reinvent it. The goal was to make the website feel as established, useful, and inviting as the restaurant itself, while cleaning up the paths that matter most for real guests: menus, reservations, ordering, and event-related traffic.
