Ann Arbor Art Center

Ann Arbor Art Center Website

The Ann Arbor Art Center is a Michigan nonprofit that has spent more than a century building visual arts programs for students, teachers, and the wider community through education, exhibitions, and a gallery shop of locally-made work. The website needed to support that breadth without burying the most important paths for visitors.

What I worked on

  • Built the website to support exhibitions, classes, and the gallery shop side by side.
  • Organized content so visitors could move between programs, events, and ways to support the Center without friction.
  • Kept the design quiet enough to let the artwork and programming carry the visual weight.

Project note

Nonprofit websites have to do a lot at once. They serve members, donors, students, teachers, and casual visitors all on the same homepage. The work here was about giving each audience a clear path without making the site feel like a directory.
